Zero Malaria Starts With Me
Helping children across the Niger Delta access malaria vaccination and prevention education.
Why This Programme Matters: Malaria remains one of the biggest threats to child survival across Nigeria, with riverine and remote communities often being the hardest to reach with traditional healthcare interventions. To solve this, the DEF mobile outreach model dynamically combines localized community awareness, vaccination support, dedicated boat outreach, and agile mobile health logistics.
Target Impact & Scope: This life-saving campaign is explicitly designed to ensure 100,000+ Children Are Reached** and 30,000+ Children Are Vaccinated** against malaria. By penetrating isolated regions, the initiative ensures that vulnerable populations receive essential preventative healthcare services directly at their doorsteps.
Core Programme Deliverables: Our execution strategy guarantees the sensitization of 300,000 residents, medical support for 30,000 children, and the deployment of 9 Mobile Health Units alongside Riverine Boat Outreach. This is backed on the ground by 270 trained Community Volunteers and an active Community Champion Network.
